The Healthy Climate Initiative (HCI) was founded five years ago with a conviction that, at the time, was still uncomfortable to voice: cutting emissions, while essential, would not be enough to stabilize the climate. Our journey has evolved not because our values changed, but because the climate reality demanded it.
To regenerate a healthy climate and make it safer for future generations.
To advance science-based solutions that reduce near-term climate risks and restore long-term climate stability—through sunlight-reflecting methods, glacier preservation, carbon dioxide removal, reforestation, and climate resilience.
In 2025, HCI expanded its mission by investing in people. Through partnerships with universities and civil society organizations, we conducted seven climate workshops across India, bringing together students, researchers, policymakers, and community leaders to explore practical solutions to the climate crisis.
To reach an even wider audience, HCI also hosted around 20 webinars, connecting global experts with emerging climate leaders and fostering continuous learning beyond in-person events.
